I grew up in a neighbourhood surrounded by the charm and beauty of art.
I was born in Esztergom and had my studies in Szentendre. Already at this early stage of my life I got enamoured with fine arts and photography. My teachers were László Somodi painter and Dezso Mészáros sculptor. After taking my GCE O-level exam I got acquainted with Miksa Tatár, artist of glass painting, who had got retired from the College of Applied Arts and set a new route to follow in my life.
Within four years' time I got a chance to present my skills in front of a committee composed of the best artists of the time. I am still on this route, trying to give the best of my abilities in this beautiful job.
The next stage was when I got to Kecskemét and I have been living here together with my family ever since. We opened our studio in 1985, and it has become one of the biggest workshops of this type all over Hungary. |
